Having recently taken over ibbi, Lily Leatham, joined by her close friend, Phoebe Cormack, has jumped straight into finding some exciting new products for the collection. Journeying to India this February, she and Phoebe have already met with old and new suppliers, to create their bespoke new designs, and they can't wait to share them with you.

They began at the famous Delhi Fair, diving straight into sourcing. The first few days were a whirlwind of colour, texture and inspiration, and they were so excited to discover some new products that instantly felt right for ibbi. After catching up with some of ibbi's wonderful longstanding suppliers in Delhi, they travelled on to Jaipur, where they spent the next ten days sampling new designs and colourways that Lily has been quietly working on for the past two months. Seeing those ideas come to life was a very proud moment, after weeks of sketches, WhatsApps and late night conversations!

What makes these trips so meaningful isn’t just the products. It’s the people. The craftsmen and artisans are unbelievably talented, and the relationships ibbi has built with these small family run businesses in the Pink City means so much. Being able to collaborate with them and help continue these age old techniques is something Lily and Phoebe feel truly passionate about.

To create beautiful pieces with heart, story and soul behind them, is at the very core of ibbi, and trips like these, are a great reminder of that.
